Frequently Asked Questions

If your application for a Global Talent Visa endorsement has been declined, you may explore the option of an endorsement review. Facing a rejection can be disheartening, and seeking the assistance of an experienced immigration lawyer to discuss your situation may prove beneficial.

To initiate an endorsement review, you must submit a request to the Home Office, which will subsequently be forwarded to the endorsing body for consideration. The Home Office will then furnish a response after consulting with the endorsing body.

It is crucial to note that there is a strict deadline of 28 calendar days from the date of refusal to submit an endorsement review. Acting promptly is essential to meet this deadline and explore potential avenues for reconsideration.

Certainly, if you meet the eligibility criteria, you have the option to extend the Global Talent Visa. Notably, unlike some other visa categories, there is no specified maximum limit on the number of times you can seek an extension.

To successfully apply for an extension, you must provide evidence verifying that you continue to fulfill the requirements. This typically involves demonstrating ongoing endorsement from the relevant endorsing body, indicating that your endorsement has not been revoked.

Additionally, you are generally required to showcase that you have generated income through your work in the designated field of expertise. Providing compelling evidence of these aspects strengthens your extension application.

The Global Talent visa is valid for five years. Holders of the visa are able to extend/renew the visa once they have accrued five years on it.
